Thank God or whoever for Anti-depressants…

Poem Artwork

I realize I don’t have it as bad as some

I for now have a place to live

Food to a small degree on my plate

And I have Rene & Rufuz to keep me from my fate…

But, as there is always a but

I have at this time no income

Nor have I even had a job interview

So nothing to look forward too

I was so stupid to allow myself

To lose my good paying job

I could have fought for it

I just didn’t have a clue…

So here I sit

Thanking God for anti-depressants

For without them Rufuz & Rene

I know I would/could find a way

To do myself in even with the bad Karma

That would from the act come my way…

Now lill'brother of mine, did you know that in Norway many Retiree have two choices? and they are, buy food or buy medicines, but they can't get both in a land that claims to be one of the riches in the world? (and cheap medicine from Canada is forbidden, or all the pharmacists of the country couldn't buy a new Mercedes)

Ed I know it isn't easy being without work and trying to make ends meet for we have been there several times over the years but my husband kept my sanity by telling me to focus on the light for each day was bringing us to a brighter tomorrow. Ed he was right we made it to where we are today, a brighter day tan we could have ever imagined. Please take that advice from me as a friend, for you, Rene and yes Rufuz, focus on that light for there are brighter days ahead.

Newfie Hugs are coming your way, Rose

Ed,

You're in my prayers - don't do yourself in, who would take care of Rufuz? of Rene? Who would write the funny poems I've come to depend on?

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

You're still thinking straight Jersey, yeah the bad Karma surely would do you in the next time, what is happening did you run out of the good stuff, I just read that incense and meditation helps depression, but there really is nothing like a job, any job even helping out in the soup kitchen, till full time comes along, I wish you luck, keep on trucking. Blessings! Jasmin Horst

Glad Rene and Rufuz are standing by you and keeping you good company. I feel you need it very much. They will be faithful to you in all you do. Forget the past, it isn't worth remembering and dwelling on, look forward to your future and enjoy the 4th of July 2008.-
