It’s gonna rain, as my lower back is in pain…

Funny how the body does tell us of future weather,

My back today is killing me, with rain on the way,

Seems I requested of you folks down south,

To keep this rain away, I should have used my loud-mouth…

 

I got on a pain patch,

To my lower back it is attached,

I took two of my pain pills,

I cannot seem to with them in my system, focus…

 

How does the body know what is approaching?

Do we all have built in barometers?

I wish it would come and go, get it over with,

As pain I will feel when they are encroaching…J

Just call me the Human Barometer, Ed. I too feel pain when the weather's fixin' to change. May feel it next week when the remnants of Gustav come callin'. UCH! But at least it'll cool us off into the eighties; I can handle that! :) Good write; hope you feel better!

Yes I know the feeling for Mr, Artie Ritis always seems to act up in my legs when we are expecting a storm.

Hope you'll feel better, Ed, the Spinner didn't dood it. Promise. Think it's from further south: like the GOM? We may be having rain midweek, thanks to Gustav. And it's true: the body knows more than the weathermen! LOL

Ed,

Interesting write. It's funny how our bodies know more that most modern technology. And Rufuz probably knows a trick about that, most animals have a sixth sense.

ahhh what would we do without pain killers, that kill everything but the pain;-)hope you find some comfort,i always enjoy a rainy day for reading...et

Rainy day today in PA too. We really do need the rain. Everything was so dry. Hope it doesn't spoil anyones' picnic plans for the weekend. Good thinkin and write, ED.
