Our planet small by inter-planetary standards,
Our ability to travel over vast expanses of space limited,
Our populace lulled into believing we were the ultimate power,
We felt our God would be there for us before our last hour…
Our politico’s had the knowledge,
But allowed us to hang over the edge,
We did afterall to them our allegiance pledge,
Our eventual destruction they were aware of,
Between us and them it did drive an everlasting wedge…
If we had fore knowledge, we might have survived,
Cannot even now after millennia our planet revive,
Dust storms now does of our planet permeate,
No creature that breathes oxygen can on our planet again thrive…
A lush tropical planet we once did populate,
Red was our skies color & our plants the color of blue,
Our world did come to an abrupt end, those that knew,
Did not to the rest allow us our dignity to die before we grew…
