As one who is terrified of the dark (I'm nearly fifty years old, and I still have to sleep with a night light on!), I'd much rather be in the bright sunshine! good write, Ed; well done!

I once watched a true documentary about some children, their skins are sensitive to sun. Anytime they are exposed to any bit of sunlight their skin would burn and blisters would appear.

These children DO come out to the park to play at night, and this is no joke. It was a documentary true story that I have watched on the TV. So being in the dark is no joke at all.
