That photo I do most certainly love,

It fits this writer like the proverbial glove,

Taken by my love Rene,

On our boat while cruising the Delaware Bay...

Squeezed herself through the forward cabin hatch,

Kept her camera around her neck safely attached,

We were hitting a few waves, bouncing,

She's a great photographer, I am herein announcing...

That day out on the bay,

Was at a time where I was quite healthy,

We owned a small boat, but were not wealthy,

The skies that day were blue, not gray,

We ran around the Cape May point,

And enjoyed the day without any dismay...

I sometimes regret to see the photo now,

Taken from our little boats bow,

So much fun we had that day,

A beautiful October day that we will someday repeat,

Of this thought I do at this time most certainly avow...
