A walk today I did take,

I did not to the lake make,

But enjoyed my walk no less,

To you all I must basically confess…

Also I did a small bit of shoveling,

I didn’t lift the snow, just pushed it,

I didn’t want to get hurt anymore,

But now I have a walkway through,

The snow we still have, but no longer do I feel blue…

I guess its because I did some work,

I feel I accomplished something even out in the murk,

Yes it was cloudy but occasionally the sun peeked through,

So today I made myself feel better,

Of somebody else in lieu…
