Putting on is easy, but taking off is HELL,

Poem Artwork

After losing all that weight last year,

To the coma and organ removal,

I really at first had no fear,

Of regaining the weight I needed so dear…

But now I am up to 220 and my sugar has risen,

Initially it was quite low, below a hundred,

Then it ran around up to the 130 range,

Now it is up to the 140 range, quite from the beginning a change…

Yes, I still do ride my bike,

Its something I have found I actually do like,

I guess I should get out and walk more,

Though I never enjoyed that exercise,

It might be better than biking,

And maybe I will have to start of it liking…

I guess you should. You should also get yourself over to that shelter, and find yourself a trusty little walking partner - Dog is Very Good Medicine.

Twigs and stems aren't great to eat
Smoking even less so
Biking works and so does walking
Just stay away from pizza dough. Patrick

So true Ed, I try to walk everyday with a 3 pound dumbell in each hand and I started eating veggies every evening. Garden salad and barbequed steak tonight and stirfry tomorrow with fish. Walk walk, Ed it is the best we can do for our weight, our sugars and our blood pressure. Take care.

A bit of goosestepping will limber the midsection, improve your weight ,and sex life Ed, I have some disks here you might want to put on your I pod, if not your brother Edvard might have some left over stolen material from the second war ha. Smarten up and get out there and walk, best if you have a reason to walk to a place, like a beer parlor, just kidding, first thing in the cool of the morning is best.

If only weight was as easy to lose as money, or as hard to gain.
Right now NJ has provided us with a free sauna, just step outside and all the weight will evaporate and leave you a crisp shell of your former self.
I'm ready to wave the white flag here. The only thing getting a work out now is our air conditioners.

As long as you move, you're burning calories. :) Get a move on, take a walk by the beach ... you'll learn to love walking as much as I do. :) Now if it's too hot, stay in -- better safe than sorry. Know you are ever in my prayers --

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
