This day one year ago,

Started my diabetic coma,

How long I was out I don’t know,

But to happen to me, especially in summer, surely did blow…

I have to thank all here that cared and prayed,

I have to thank my lady Rene for standing by me,

For if she was not there I may have died,

I have to thank my best friends Lien & Barb,

They came to visit me all the time and were there for Rene,

They all so much had showed their love for me and cried…

Now I am so much better, maybe my sugar is a bit wacky,

But that will calm down once I get it under control,

I hope writing this I don’t seem in the least bit tacky,

As I want everyone to know how much I give to God & you all, my thanks…
