I've not been able to sleep at night, of late...

I cannot figure it out...looking for answers or advice...

Poem Artwork

Its not like I am waiting for Santa to arrive,

Nor for the ball to fall in Times Square,

And I have nothing pressing on my mind,

But my sleeping schedule is all screwed up,

I sleep in the day & stay awake all night,

Though I try to sleep, it just turns into a fight…

I am going to try to stay awake for the rest of tonight,

Into and through as far as I can this upcoming day,

If I can make into the early evening even,

I can then go to sleep early, like about six or so pm,

Seems the only way to reverse my schedule,

What advice can you give, what can you say…?

Buy a rubic's cube and force yourself to solve it. No sleep until you do. That ought to last about 3 days and then you'll sleep. Patrick

to me, sleep is a series of small naps ... perhaps your own snoring is waking you up ;)

It all comes to us as we age, need less sleep, I too sleep very infrequently, especially at night. When you are tired you will sleep, don't let it bother you. Maybe you can accomplish something by being awake and keeping your mind occupied. Activity helps and a good walk too. know you get frustrated about it at times we all do but go on trying as best we can.

Here's hoping you get some needed sleep soon, Ed; praying for you~

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Texas, Karen Lynn. :(

Sometimes I get up at three or four; depends on when Mother Nature calls ... LOL

It's called Old Age, Bro. Old people sleep far less than young people do. Go for a nice long walk in the woods. Exercise will help, and do you some good.

I have the same problem but I have just come to the conclusion that I will sleep when I am tired and get up when I am not...works for me.
