Poem Artwork

I seem to write like many people, including myself,

My muse of course does help me; he is my little writer’s elf,

I try to write so I am understandable most times,

I do so quite easily in written rhymes…

So please bear with me, if often I do stray,

Not in the white or black area, often in the gray,

Of my writings herein you will find a great array,

Of me you will get a pretty good portray…

Do I really & truly write too much,

So many poems, so little time & such,

I guess of writing you can call it my crutch,

To it for many years I did of it clutch…

WELL ... IN 5 MONTHS LESS THAN ME -

YEW HAVE PRODUCED ALMOST 7 TIMES MORE 'PIECES.'
IN 8.5 YEARS, 4,823 TITLES ... VS. ONLY MY 703 ...

ERGO - JUST 'WHOM' DO YEW REALLY THINK HAS
'DIARRHEA' OF THE PEN?

THUS, IT IS EASILY SEEN THAT ...

WHILE I AM 'RETIRED' BUT STILL WORKIN'
YEW ARE JUST 'RETARDED' N' LURKIN'!

BUT - I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY -
'CAUSE YOUSE IZ DA 'BESTEST' 'WHOM' OF THE DAY!

CUZ ... 'SIR CUR REPROBATE' ... AKA 'LORD BAWLMER' THE ONLY-ETH ...

No, you don't write too much, Ed. Your writing is down-to-earth and often amusing or heart-touching.
You do like to add extra words, though, as in the last line of this poem. You could have left out "of it" and it would be more understandable. (you asked)
You make the den a brighter place, Ed!

It's all relative, just keep being you.
It's the one people relate to.

I know the feeling, Ed. If I didn't have the writing of poems and novels I am quite sure I wouldn't know what to do. I'm not one of those old men who like to sit around with other old men on wooden benches in the park or the mall and tell tall tales to one another. That, to me, would be hell on earth.
