Poem Artwork

T’ain’t necessarily cold,

But winter is still getting old,

No walking on the beach,

Without warm clothes in reach…

To stroll the boardwalk,

Without a shirt or shoes,

To have some pizza,

While watching the ocean,

All these things keep away the blues,

A few more months,

Several more or so weeks,

Then we’ll start to get peeks,

Of skin, of swimmable surf, & of cheeks…J

Here it is cold, few mintues ago I checked the weather.....-34c! winds much worst. And that is a warm moment compared to the past 48hrs. Our cold is starting to thaw out....for awhile anyways. But they built the Multyplex...........swimming, exercising and so forth...bright lights.......my hiding spot until the spring.

Don't worry. As we get older time moves faster. Summer will be here before you know it. In the meantime, just pack up and head for the Keys like my brother.

Please keep those hairy old cheeks of yours covered, and wear a shirt when you're wandering those boardwalks. But get on out there and enjoy winter, too. Me and the Mangy Mutts are headin off to visit an old ice cave real soon.

PS: Did you mail that check you promised yet??!!
