The worse day of the week,

Not even on Monday do I turn the other cheek,

A better day of the week do I try and seek,

Couldn’t Mondays just come on Friday,

Allowing those of us with computers to just hit Monday delete…J

I was tired and still feeling mighty poorly,

But I got out and drove 70 miles for the fun of the drive,

No place in particular did I ever arrive,

Monday’s like most days are just at home mostly boring,

Looking for something to do better is what I do strive…J

A waste of gas & a waste of time,

Should’ve stayed home and wrote another rhyme,

Instead I am low on fuel & money is still tight,

I just wish I could see, at the end of the tunnel, the light…J
