Poem Artwork

Overhead,
Noisy engines,
Approaching from the south,
They seem to come when sleeping in my bed…

I’ve noticed it at other places,
In the past they are put through their paces,
Never lived near them before,
Now they fly over in packs of four…

An approach pattern for PHL,
Have been up to this point quite lucky,
Now I live below their incessant noise,
Ain’t life grand; I just feel so ducky…

I once lived on a busy thoroughfare. After a while, like slowly being poisoned, you get used to it, even slightly deaf. ;-)

For all the isolation, where I live, I have the blighters going over the rooftop three times a week. I see more of them than I do people LOL
