Don’t remind me, Unless you have, to my past, a key, I am reminded enough when I look in the mirror, My hair may be okay, but my beard is altogether quite gray… I still wear tie dyes, And still I eat fries, But mostly I don’t do too many pies, For my birthday this year I am gonna get high, Wish the powers that be would of pot decriminalize… Some may call me an old fart, But that’s only of me a small part, I have yet to drink coffee for a morning kick start, And I never started to smoke, as I value my heart, But in the past five years I gotta admit, I seem to be more & more each passing year falling apart… © me – 8/2/14

Better an old fart than a little s**t, Ed! :) A birthday is just another day on which to cock a snoop at the grim reaper and to celebrate all your death-defying acts for all your 'clean' living.
