Should I fear the dark,
Simply because there is no light?

Should I lock the door,
Jiggling the handle just to make sure?

Should I fear people,
Just because “some” do murder?

Should I not view scary movies,
As some say they create nightmares?

Should I worry about death,
When it is said that it is the end?

Should I worry about the end,
When I do not remember the beginning?

Should I fear God,
As I know not if he does or does not exist?

These and other questions,
Haunt our very being,
They tear at the fabric of our minds,
They cut into our psyches,
They slice & dice our faculty of reason…

These are but an infinitesimal amount of questions that do stalk me & make me obsess,
Is this fiction, a fable or a fabrication of my own design?
This dear reader & follower can only be answered by your own intellect…

Don't ruin your day by tormenting yourself about things you can't change Ed!
The sun will set, tomorrow will look after it self when it gets here.
Just enjoy your day, relax do things that give you pleasure! :)

That is worth thinking of. I say each do what makes them happy and nothing else. :)

In my experience, fearing something does not alter it in any way, except to make it appear bigger than it actually is.
I have a plaque on my wall that says...
"The past is gone"
"Live for TODAY" and deal with tomorrow when it gets here"
