I should, like Mr. Ed, walk in the rain...

Poem Artwork

When home from the shore I do get,
I turn on the magic of the TV set,
Then the computer does go on,
I start to play on the Book of Face,
But you probably understand that,
Cause you too do of the Book keep pace…

Not too long does it take for me to of the book, tire,
I come home quite altogether wired,
But after 15 minutes of watching being bored,
To my bed I go to sleep or out I go to work on my Accord…

The beach & ocean today were quite nice,
Of the tropics it was a little slice,
My short walk quite taxing,
Glad to be home now & relaxing…

When I start getting bored I read or clean...always
something else besides boredom!

Always,

Facebook can cause so much stress anymore. I've been staying off of it as much as possible. Too much drama!! Beach walking and hiking are the way to go, hon!

Love ya!

Jane

You need to get your face out of that book and walk more. The fact that walking is "taxing" is very good for you, both physically and psychologically. "Relaxing" is a trap that will keep you bored from inactivity. It costs no money to breathe in fresh air and even to note the ugly parts of your neighborhood. After a while they will become familiar and not so ugly once you know them as well as the beach.

My friend is pain and I can't walk. So, my friend, you have it easy.

Ron

You should, like Mr. Ed, walk a lot more, Bro.
But my recent walk in the rain soon became a nightmare,
When the rain turned torrential, tornado sirens blared,
And I soon had a flooded Man Cave - Beasty Boy Dog House.
(Lots of good exercise mopping up last night.)

Seems the best thing to do.

Sounds to me like you have figured it all out and are happy with the results, and for that I am happy for you.
