You decide a title...

Poem Artwork

Died in '09,
They cried & I did whine,
After that I cut off my family cold,
Inside I was then & am now still cold,
This of and by myself I’ve been told,
Through life we live as best we can till we’re old…

Learning as we go, trying to grow,
Our world changing from childhood,
To that day we fully & finally accept adulthood,
But really is this something that of it, I should…

If death is really near,
And of it I don’t fear,
Then why not accept it,
And bring it closer here,
Death does while I sleep, at me, leer…

I hate it when death leers at me. ;-) Good thoughts. My condolences for your death in 2009. I followed you in 2012. But it was a rather pleasant experience that I'm sure the drugs made so palatable. I remember eating well and not having any trouble breathing the whole time. Didn't fear anything except boredom for being in the hospital so long.

Oh, I feel I am prepared for that last timid (maybe rainchy) breath. I sure as hell don't fear it.

Good thing we don't know the last hour, so be prepared.
