Open the car windows,
Drive with on the tunes,
Will likely make your hair unkempt,
But it’s warm out, up are going the temps…
Suck in all that fresh air,
The weather is getting more fair,
The choice of music playing might be warfare,
But bathing suits & t-shirts will be what we all wear…
Nothing like waxing and waning, along with car washing and driving on a beautiful spring day. Unfortunately, the road and wind noise, along with the heat, on our streets and freeways make driving with the window down more of a punishment than a reward. Can't even hear the radio play at all. Driving along the beach with the window down is still cool, though.
It has been quite a while since I have waxed my vehicle. These days, I just take her through the "luxury wash" at the gas station. It does a good job and it seems to be keeping it fit as the car looks new and it is a 2002 GMC Jimmy. Also, I use my Esso points so it doesn't really cost me anything although I realize that I have already paid for my car washes by paying exorbitant prices for the gasoline. Nicely done, Ed.
