Ed, I read all the comments below, and you do have a number of people who will be calling upon the healing power of our Lord and Savior on your behalf, and I shall be praying for you as well.

It seems the others are overreacting a bit. Looks like the doctors caught "a lesion" while it can be treated quickly and easily.

If it's any consolation, a recent ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys showed that I have a cyst in one of my kidneys that is long-standing and unchanged as well as a swelling on one side of one kidney that is new. I have a urodynamic study of my bladder on Wednesday that will tell them more. I'm not worried although my grandmother had a large tumor on her kidney and my cousin recently learned that she has a tumor in her kidney--both cancerous.

Prayers never stopped cancer, only action. You've got the right attitude. Let the doctors do their thing.

I have many friends who have survived this and more.
Thankfully surgery results are much better than before.

Ed... Mine was inside & 1st sugery got screwed up because

Not anesthetized enough. Leg jerked & Dr
Perforated bladder 5/7/2014.
Had to wear bag for 13 days for hole to heal itself.
This caused repeated UTI 's which required antibiotics,
Which caused diarrhea, which caused hemorhoids.
& then required Probiotics & Peparation H.

Most miserable time of my life!

2nd surgery was 8/4/2014. Stuck in hospital about 10 hrs for some unknown reason.
Was supposed to be Out pat 4-5 hrs.
But so far, so good, 2 yrs later.

I was very fortunate I gave up smoking in my 50's It was better late than never and an operation removed a small tumor that was cancerous but the doctor searched all around and removed anything that didn't look right. Thank God he did a great job and I never had any more problems.
Hope all goes well with you and they find nothing serious with your bladder.

Hope you don't have this Ed. My daddy died of lung cancer in 2007. Chain smoked all his life. I chain smoked 34 years then quit. Cancer runs bad on both sides of my family. Lewis
