I gotta get the hell of out of this apartment, ASAP!

Poem Artwork

Pounding in my ceiling,
6 months of the year I am reeling,
Of my ceiling tiles I wish to be peeling,
Of my quiet night sleep the pipes are stealing…

I really want to move,
To an apartment upstairs,
Another complex entirely,
There my sleep I can improve…

This current place is as well getting unfriendly,
Of a nicer complex I am in envy,
No more worries of break-in’s,
The safety of my car not an issue,
Walking around this dump I have to know jujitsu…

Perhaps I can find another trailer,
Possibly a fifth wheel and move home,
Back to my campground where happy I was,
Or to a boat where I can forever be a sailor.

Moving is such a pain, I know, but sometimes we have little choice. Pack it up and move on!

Now, if those pipes were of another type, you certainly would be peeling the tiles from the ceiling to get to them!! All joking aside, get out of there. You don't belong in that place. You deserve better.

Love ya!

Yep, it's time to move, and get the hell out of Dodge.

An apartment in a bad neighborhood can become quite claustrophobic. I do hope you can find a way out of there.

On the other hand, the picture seems like the ideal abode for you. Not only can you take your housing with you on the road wherever it takes you, whenever you come water, you can take to it like a duck and live on the water, too, if you like.

Oh my yes, been there. Done that. I am so happy where I am these days . . . Hope you can get the hell out of where you are at, Ed.

Ed ...

Nice Wheels & Houseboat with
Flying Bridge even. Who makes it?
What cost? When I win the Lottery I
Want one!

Yrs ago, I was in a basement apt & know all about
noise overhead. Why I love my trailer. No adjacent
noisy neighbors.

Hang in there! ✌️✌️

Seems a move is the answer.

Ah yes, there is instability to travel; but in compensation the freedom of the road. Enjoyed this poem as one who has always been on the road with no need to practice jujitsu. . . ! John
