For the past couple of weeks I hadn’t been to the book store,
And let me tell you that life without books can be such a bore,
It really ate at me throughout my very core,
Pretty much anything that I can read does of me lure…
I like WW-2 intrigue & suspense,
The best writer for this genre is Jack Higgins,
I recently read the Valhalla Exchange in under a week,
When a book I like that comes along I read faster than I speak…
So it’s an addiction I seem to have here going,
I can’t stop reading pretty much at night mostly,
Sometimes I also get into spooky books that are mostly ghostly,
Love that type of book at night in the dark & in a park,
As well watching the spirits practicing with their boats at rowing.

I have a lot of Stephen King's books which I collect and read, and some other authors as well. If you want books that are cheap and you don't have to pay for shipping cost, go to Amazon.com's Mass Market and look for used books in new condition. I have just bought a whole set of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" for only C$67.00 complete with bookcase sleeve and plastic wrapper just like the set is new. The "Dark Tower" series 8 book set is sold elsewhere anywhere from US$100.00 to US$140.00, but I got my set from Amazone's Mass Market used book for only C$67.00, and the set looks awesomely new! I've just added that to my books collection.
Amazon's Mass Market books are good to buy because even if it says "used" the book is still in very good condition, looking like brand new.
My daughter and I have collected over 1,000 books here at home. It will take us a long time to read them all. :)
