I know that must be torture. Recently I saw advertised… Dialysis at Home. But I believe you have to have the right insurance for something like that. And, I keep finding that "a cure for type II diabetes is right around the corner." And finally, they are working on printing organs like kidneys that will function as well as the originals. But I hope you're not dying to get one like I'm dying to get well behaved stem cells to replace my injured spinal cord.

They almost began dialysis on me a couple of years ago, sure was relived when they sided against. Hoping the very, very best for you, and sooner than later they will take you off that damn thing.

Understand your sentiment, Ed. And you have my empathies. Our son Sean, endured dialysis for several years until he got a new kidney. Now, eleven years later, that kidney is starting to fail. One of the men in my Dept. at work, has it done 4 times a week. Being able to write about it, I'm sure, helps in various ways. All the best... rlc
