This recent virus has been awhile around,
It has not been recently discovered,
The Chinese have had it many times before,
They know all about it, they know the score…
After all in China they do eat meat from dogs & cats,
They are the reason for the transmission of this disease,
Humans catch it from the dogs & such,
Then we just transmit it across the world,
Flying everywhere we go, the disease we do herald…
It may kill off a great deal of people,
But is that such a big bad thing,
We die off so that others may in ring,
Hopefully the weather change upcoming,
Will blow this disease out to sea in the spring?

The drastic action by the Chinese and the media following every infection, worldwide, has created a fear (why some people hate the media and call it fake) that may be unwarranted, since the Coronavirus appears to be no more deadly than other viruses that have come along. But when fear affects the economy like it has, fear turns out hurting us all more than the death of old sick people.
Why wouldn't we prefer a quick death from a virus over years of suffering from diabetes, strokes, dementia, arthritis, congestive heart failure, and other organ failures and cancer that occur in old age and may last years before death occurs? Frankly, I feel that people value life too much. And the Hippocratic oath ends up with tremendous medical cost to save the terminally for a little while longer so they can suffer a little while longer. Bankrupted my father and mother when my father was in the hospital for four months before he died. Is that something that intelligent people wish for?
