In this our world of social distancing,

We are asked by the powers that be,

To keep us healthy and not get THE “virus”,

To keep a ten foot gap between us and them,

Forcing us into a life of repositioning…

We are as well wearing masks to cover our mouths,

So that if we have THE “virus” it won’t be transmitted,

After all we don’t want to be, with others, admitted,

Hospitals are getting overfull, while we try to stay healthy quite hopefully…

Less said, less spread is the way to go, I think,

And many times a day stick your hands in the sink

Hot water and soap for 20 seconds is the key,

This should, hopefully, keep us happy, healthy & mostly germ free.
