BRANSON, MISSOURI…

Enjoyed this crowded little town in Missouri, we did,

Was one of the highlights of our trip,

But that trip took us so many wonderful places,

That we feel we really must to our country, leave a tip.

Was oh so hot, I must admit,

Rufuz was not happy, except in the air conditioning,

Hell, nor was his daddy, not enjoying extreme heat,

But Rene’ was in her glory,

She would however pull her hair out when I would suggest,

A short little sleep mid-day to cool off and relax,

This is a vacation she would say,

You can take a nap at home,

So, out we did roam.

We found Eureka Springs, Arkansas to be quite the eclectic town,

Lots of cute stores and friendly people,

I could not stand the altitude and of course the heat,

So, I still got my way, and got a nap, in the air of the jeep,

While Rene’ wandered and through stores she bought,

We still have many things from that trip & so we ought.

But the nicest thing we kept,

Are the memories of a wonderful visit,

And from there we continued our journey,

Through Arkansas, headed for Tennessee…
