FAITH…(or the lack thereof)
I respect those with faith in their god,
Whosoever their god may be, they deserve,
Writing a poem of Christian faith, I usually reserve,
To those that have interest or ability, there they can serve…
I know I have been very lax, with regards comments, either way,
For recent & past writes on the religious right or left, as they say,
But I truly find it hard to comment, as I know so little,
And have no desire, to know any more, as it is so much for me, kibble,
So to those of you that know your faith, let me say here again,
I have respect for your beliefs, as I hope you would for mine,
But as far as comments, I try to restrain,
As they might be offensive, quite possibly to sound, insane,
Or for that matter out of line…
Nowadays, with the world in a tumble,
And its peoples so hard looking for a rumble, (war)
I try to keep my comments regarding religion, quite humble,
In no way, hopefully, insulting or allowing offense to be meant…

Choice is one of our greatest gifts and also one of our greatest responsibilities. Faith resides in the living, glowing, breathing centre of our hearts, and it can only be ignited by our own will to allow it to burn... Such pleasure! Such pain! So who has the right to blast their way into that sacred place and make that decision for us? No one. But more often than not, the gentle touch of love will reach in and stir the embers. Love is the most persuasive catalyst and a very persistent bounty hunter!
