The Raindrops publishing company had a weekend contest on Facebook for my Second Book of poetry 'Nature Tales' to be published by the company shortly . On Saturday there were 89 comments on the prompt given below and my song i made out of my posts in the contest

Poem Artwork

Romancing the summer love,

 Green yellow and brown leaves

In the misty hill top where coffee blooms,

Heard  bell clang of  cattle roaming along

In open  meadows  green far below

Romancing the summer love

Green yellow and brown leaves

Heady mix, mood is set  amidst  nature wild

Set your heart free awhile

It will bind with the one it loves

 Romancing the summer love,

 Green, yellow and  brown leaves,

Colors of life all now worn,

She raced into wilderness

  Possessed by his love

Romancing the summer love,

The leaves , green, yellow and brown

A smooth bed of leaves to lay her love,

Peering moonlight see bushes dense

Damp with blush love they like to remain

 Romancing the summer love,

 green  yellow and leaves brown,

The moon got naughty embraced  both

Soon the night was bright as day

 Long beams,magical silver shine

Romancing the summer love

Green yellow and leaves brown

Love O love, so sweet  your song

Do you know who stripped you bare

Destroyed  your love without a care

Yes, those only looking for lust will leave you

after that...so sorry!

Always,

Looks like a furtive love affair that was brought on by lust and the summer heat. Everyone should have one before the summer leaves for fall.

Eh . . . My mantra . . . Love has hurt and made more people sad than any other one thing on earth

It sounds as if your summer love song was too hot to handle.
It came up long on lust and short on romance.
But isn't that pretty much the story of life?
Your reviewers must have liked it that way... :-)
