Eighteen Lines at Valentine's The day of the Valentine was inevitable Breaking through winter's ice Urging a spring readiness A bit early for some For warming Hearts This special day is for a suitor to share Ready-made printed phrases Within a card's promise Of endless fidelity As his own Pledge As her roses wilt and candy eaten He may not then have a clue Speechless he will share Another sweet and Meaningful Kiss F William Broome 2007-09
