Yes, as you elegantly proffer, one's state of mind is so interrupted by the trivial at times, so bombarded by the inane, and made immune to reality's gift of love and integrity by so much interference. Agreed. I know of a good friend who is so solid and supportive that friends and relatives constantly call her and then complain ad nausea about their miserable lives as though they had nothing good to say or any way of supporting anyone.
