Imagination cannot be denied in the grand scheme of things dear Audrine. Although the logic and the heart play its part, the imagination is the vehicle that loosens our very soul. Thank you for sharing such a deep insightful poem, I can feel the strength of your soul in this one, amazing write!
I especially like the line, "and one does really have their feet washed thoroughly clean of the leaves that are not serving."
If we have to rationalize, the law is not working in our favor and we need to change it. But peaceful protest is far better than violent uprising to change the law.
