On the Very First ay of Autumn
On the very first day of autumn
The winds seem to refresh the trees
The leaves are turning to different colors
As they rustle in the breeze
The sunshine is growing very distant
The nights are coming on strong
The moon appears, as early as noon
And the birds have lost their song
Oh the very first day of autumn
In the fields are pumpkins galore
In the orchards, the apples are ready
As autumn gourds are displayed, once more
The baseball World eries gets closer
The excitement of football is here
Halloween will soon bless the scene
As the beautiful foliage draws near
