MEMORIES OF A VISIONARY

The sun rotates
Beaming bright gleaming rays
Sudden changes in energy level
As cosmos links with a soul.

The procession passed by the street
Mass bowed before God's unique art
'The missile man of india' they said
'The man of knowledge' others cried.

The procession passed over the street
The country moans for his lost
Love of Mass , he gained
Their smoulder heart pained.

He walked through the way hastily
No one dared to walk differently
His eyes only found an unknown path
Flick of finger revealed the space truth

He valued fraternity than religion
And love the innocence of children

A well-known personality
And a well-known visionary
Whom I had never seen in life
With inspirational words as a sharp knife.

Heaven called this astonishing figure
Caused some change in nature
Blue sky sinks with darkness
But in coffin like a star he twinkles

Awards of red roses, he received
From little tots, his beloved
His body is mortal
But still have an immortal soul

Day and night passes
We commemorate him by his words
Act and inventions he leaves
For whom once he bid a warm farewell .

You make me want to have known the man. And the way you describe his funeral is priceless.

River of Memories: An Appalachian Boyhood by David Thompson

For a time, I perched myself on a flat rock, comparing my life with the Guyandotte River. Just as its tributaries replenish it daily, changing it in some small—sometimes great—degree, so have the day-to-day occurrences of life changed me. Like the ri
