It might do some good to have Dr. Michio Kaku quit New York to populate Tokyo where - right at this moment - a certain young woman cartoonist is popularising "moulds" of her own private parts, even in the shape of plastic "rowable" boats, all in the name of female freedom and equality. Little chance comets or urbanisation can quell her urges...
A meteor or comet of reasonable size striking the earth would certainly do it. But evolution would eventually create Homo sapiens again and the "bad guy gene" would continue to propagate.
