Lights dance to the beat of the waves
Ducks settle into the waters bedding
Distant Sun sets solemnly onto the grass
Darkness seems to envelop the land
Here at this point of the earth we touch
Walking silently across the dusky path
My heart began to know your souls color
Hands clasped together we ached for more
Eyes peered through the dusk just glimpses
Then as we walked not talking beats began
This moment will stay with us always, always
Love did not begin here it bloomed in darkness
We returned here night after night to grow close
Now we sit at night dreaming of the dusky path
Returning in our dreams hand in hand silently
Heart beating wildly together learning soul colors

TRUE STORY. Bella survived an abusive powerbroker father with organized crime ties, a drug-addicted mother and a physically/sexually abusive brother. Shocking & inspirational. When she couldn't cry, she tattooed a crying angel to cry for her.
