Papier-mache` pin`ata hangs empty
from a twisted knarled old tree.
Swinging around in the whimsical breeze.
Empty footsteps fill the hall within
trudging on over and over again.
Hideous laughter rings out from
The walls, at something that
deserves no chuckles at all.
Hollow empty vacant eyes,
nothing inside them to hide.
Skeletons in these closets are much
too real. Speak up don't be frightened
let it be revealed. Abuse has been
accepted into too many lives.
Something this country should
no longer hide. Stop and listen
Did somebody scream, you must
Of imagined it, in this tomb of a dream.
Such a soulful poem that speaks of hidden horrors. I have often thought that 'abusers', unless reformed, should never have the capability of "begetting", as they inforce more of their characterless efforts on their begotten.
Yout talent has always inspired me. Abuse should never be tolerated in any form.

A delicate thought provoking message that hits it's message home like a slam from a hammer. We all have to start hearing, investigating and acting on those screams...there are no more excuses.
