I’ve watched a pure love
For the last few weeks
She is coming to know
The cycle of love a family knows

Inside her she can feel them
Eight gifts from heaven above
Sent here just for her

Eight spotted miracles
Her bodies grown large
Now through much pain
They’ve come to our home


She’s done her very best
Now she holds them close
Within her man made nest

Curled all around her small gifts
I have never seen a purer love
On mother earth than this
