People have so much self created stress
Why is it so I sit and ponder, under pressure?
Does drama make one feel much more alive
Who cares really, is it just when it affects me
I watch in amazement at the craziness of it all
I want to yell get it together, look at thyself
I rant and give myself stress worrying about it
Them I mean life is very short after all right?
I don’t know?

I heard it once said that Stress is when:

your stomach says NO! and your mouth says " I would be glad to do that!"

I guess you are partly right and partly wrong...some stress is unavoidable because when it comes right down to it...stress in it's simplest form is only worry.
It is natural for a mother to worry about where the food is to feed her children, it is natural for a seniour to worry when they dont' make enough pension to pay for their meds, it is natural for a father to worrry whether he will have a job at months end...etc. I guess the validity stressing depends on the what one is stressing about.

Yes Theresa we all seem to add more stress, we need to drop it and live, live, live. A great write now if others would read and listen to what you are saying. Thank you for sharing.

One thing that I give you much credit for Theresa, is that
you are trying to find out. You are asking yourself questions
that a lot of people will not dare to take the time out to
ask. Its lifes confusing mind maze reality that brought the
best out of you in " Sunday in my Garden " One of my favorite
poems of all time. Your questions are real; this world is a
hot mess ... make no mistake about it. You are on the right
track to question this world. If one did not question this
existence, I would only question him or her.
