Photograph taken by, Theresa Jodray

Poem Artwork

This early morning meditation sits still
Just for the second to hear the Sun rise
Oh this day that settles into place
Makes my chest ache a bit for time

Tomorrow perhaps I will forget this
As I sit to meditate with the dawn
But this photograph will store it
For another to see through my eyes

Every second here on this earth plain
I try to take in just a bit of creation
For my memory No! For my sons eyes
So they someday with grace will see

How to make another feel this dawn
Then the next as each moment is drawn
How do I wish to share this great love?
So here on film through my lens I save

With my heart full at the awesome view
I watch and talk to Heavenly Fathers sky
To touch another as it astounds me here
I share this dawn on Sunday with you

There's always a beauty in sun rise, along with a good feeling of a brand new day. Good write indeed.
