The Angel stood just off to my east
Watching as his light touched me
The smile on his face brought peace
Love shined about his body’s aura
We’d meet again behind marble walls
Here within the Temple he spoke
So much comfort in his voice I cried
Wanting to stay with him and hear
The week before he walked into my work
Teasing me and my friend with wisdom
Now I basked within his glowing presence
Listening to his testament of the Lord
Waiting now to see where we’ll meet
He spoke of the mountains in Zion
He mentioned the oceans awesome shore
Now I wish I’d listened so much more
Hard to tell another of him quietly, wisely
Not to speak too much out loud, a secret
Yet I must release a bit about our meeting
