I recall meeting my host in Karachi Pakistan for my four-day stay in 1978. He and I hit it off immediately as though he was as close as my twin brother. We had the same tastes in almost everything. We enjoyed each other's company for four days. When he called me while visiting the States about 15 years later, we resumed our conversation as though the years had not intervened where we left off.
