All That I Have

A sweet bedtime prayer for children.


Poem Artwork

 For yummy food that I eat,

the clothes that I wear,

for my toys, my books,

for my puppy named Bear.

For Mommy and Daddy

and the kindest of friends,

for old crayons, for trinkets

and fun odds and ends.

For things creepy crawly

that come alive in the dark

wee frogs, fireflies twinkling

and a grasshopper’s song-

For bicycles, popsicles,

a river for splashing,

For melodies, giggles

and shows made for clapping.

Thank you, sweet God,

for soft nights

and warm days,

for blessing me

every step of the way.
