~*~Apologies to all, have spent the whole day ill in bed. I will endeavour to review what I have missed sometime over the weekend :)

"Lady Tamarisk" was written for a challenge, and we had to use the following words: favonian, supine, sybarite, afflatus and skullduggery. hee hee.

Hope you all have a super weekend and look after yourselves.

hugs and love
Elga

 Lady Tamarisk...

Lady Tamarisk
floated into a field of dreams,
where sweet aromatic flavours
permeated the air,
intoxicating her senses
like elderberry wine..

As the orange hued sun
dipped silently beyond the
curtained horizon,
the cool favonian breeze
wafted across the room,
caressing her desirable
supine sybarite figure,
luxuriating upon,
the soft fleecy
damask coloured velvet,
which gently teased
and titillated,
her delightful ivory toned flesh.
As she pleased her mind
with passionate thoughts
her soft sensual ruby red lips
uttered silent heavenly pleas.

She had taken afflatus
from her secret lover,
and his heartfelt cries
to forget all the lies
he'd make her his wife
for the rest of his life.

She had now been warned
too no longer believe,
the lord of the manor
with his pleadings and promises,
to cherish and love her,
whilst all the while
when her back had been turned,
he'd taken up with a lover.

But tonight;
the skullduggery would end !
