Globe of Mystery 

 

Intricacies of life
that may lead you
to feel this way,
confused and sometimes
misused and abused
are but stepping stones
to a higher realm
of self understanding.

The globe of mystery,
ever rotating,
wherein we reside,
you have a choice
of walking beneath the shadows,
in darkness,
or ahead of them,
in the bright light.

One step at a time,
don't allow yourself
or your mind
to become immersed
in those darkened shadows,
throw open

the windows
and doors 
cast out the doubts 
let the fresh breeze blow
and warm sunshine glow.

Those last lines remind me of staying at my Grandma's house in the Florida Keys. The wind was warm and constant.

Walking ON the waters and not beneath them... living within the ever-revolving globe, maybe tossed and turned, but looking upwards and outwards through opened windows onto a higher plane... raising your eyes to look and see with more far-reaching vision the Bigger Picture... Breathtaking write that is crystal-clear and shines with rainbow colours that bring peace and hope to perplexed hearts and minds. This is indeed a poetic key which unlocks some of the mystery of what it means to swim and not sink! Thank you, Elga. Your sensitivity is balm for the soul. Kate xx
