To all my dear Friends, I know that I have been terribly slack over the last couple of weeks, I can only apologise, and hope you will all find it your hearts to forgive me, it has not been intentional. I have read most of the poetry posted, but have not had the will or energy to respond. I thank you all very graciously for the wonderful comments on the collaboration with Thomas and myself,... Tom, Thank you for your wonderful time and allowing me to work with you, it was both a pleasure and a treasure. To all of you once again my loving thanks.

Healing Rain...
Golden heated rays the sun diffused
but now softly falls the healing rain,
the land and earth are now infused
earth parched, so dry, seemed in pain.
Quenching the thirst in this arid place
the core that needs to be permeated,
knowing that it can't be done in haste
too much too soon will be adulterated.
Into depths so soulful steadily seeping
tasting each layer with zest renewed,
through veins and pores feel its weeping
as it feeds the hunger and the mood.
Soon the earth will once again be fertile
and beauty will upon it thrive and grow,
that all the time it had been worthwhile
therefore, you reap then, what you sow.
Mother Nature thanks you for your respect and I thank you for your poem. I am a nature woman preferring to reside by her side instead of the polluted black tops and city smog that citizens of this earth prefer over her land. I stick by my guns and poems like yours bolster my own beliefs that those who honor nature will be protected by her.

Don't tell me you're a rain lover, too! Rain poems are my favorite. So I couldn't resist this one. I like to stand on the porch and watch the rain fall. Especially during a thunderstorm.
