Thoughts rioting through my active mind
So much to do and so little time
What to write? What to say?
I know not much
Yet my thoughts do stray
Humour and laughter
Not my forte
Politics and war
I’ll keep away
Hurts and sadness need an outlet
Passion and love, can we forget?
How many then can we pen?
Within a heart that won’t end.
Poems that lay hidden
From prying eyes
Of love and romances
Dying passions and lies
Laws of old that are carved in stone
Rules which we were never shown

Superb write Elga! Love can never be written about too much. It is the eternal gift that never runs dry, the essence of all that lives and the greatest goft from Creator!
These words are so true and apply to all writers,I guess it's just the nature of the beast but when it all comes together whether it be a poem, story, song or play it makes all the work worthwhile.
