When you say the word ‘Opening,’ your mouth shapes the letter O. The portal through which we enter this world is an aperture, opening and closing, giving and receiving. The Portal.
My portal has become this electronic device that creates words from my voice, but does not carry any emotion at all. I have to convey that in my words.
But, for maturation to occur one must have both the warm voice of the portal that feeds the infant as well as its warm touch.
