Starlight twinkles through the blinds into their baby blues


They offer laughter and giggles to me as Poppy's dues


Baby powder sweet scents making memories I cannot ignore


Tickles and wiggles we all get to play on the floor


All little fingers and toes and cute turned up button nose


Goldilock little curls frame cheeks coloured to rose


Soft flannel pyjamas these angels asleep in my arms


What man could truly resist a granddaughter's charms.
