Oh yes, yes!!!
This is special for me, and I am old enough to remember and I love this, it is so, well...what Drive-In's were...oh, how we loved them way back...brings me back, my mom even worked at one!

Oh, yes, today's kids ...aww, missing out on what was so, so...well, all of what you wrote...
and what a delight this piece is
and for me, oh, a delightful reminder and more...

Guess what Fee! Come on down as the drive -in movie us making a comeback. There's one near Commerce, Georgia that never closed it's doors.This pen has rhythm and nostalgia all in one. I love this side of you Mister Fee. Wanna take in a DI Movie. Let's see...if you could see any old movie classic...which one would you choose?

Oh yes!!!! The drive ins, sneaking friends in in the trunk (giggle), those were definitely the days. But they got really dark for me quickly. But I still remember the ones I can. The kids of today will never know what we cherish, or why, and that is so sad. Thanx for sharing dear brother.

Ahhh yes, the drive-in. I don't think I ever saw an entire movie, snuggled together in the dark, feeling as though the car and the volume of the speaker box offered us some sort of privacy, raging hormones...ahhh yes, the drive-in. Excellent images and memories, Felix.

Ain't it the truth? Some of the best fun of my life was experienced at a drive in, being eaten up by mosquitos, munching popcorn, sloshing Cokes on everyone (they always ran out of lids in the concession stand at our drive in) and just being together! Somehow a multiplex with 36 screens just doesn't have the same appeal does it? Great write Felix, and love the title! Michelle

Oh Felix! I have a speaker snatched from the Skyvue Drive-In before demolition. Indeed what memories we have. I remember slouching down in a blanket with my siblings in the back seat so my sis could get us in at the children's rate, to watch Elvis. Those fares would be nothing compared to today's movie prices. Watching my first horror flick and having bad dreams for days. And of course making out. I have the same nolstalgic sadness for the old Natotorium, a huge roller-skating rink. Gee, we had fun. If I was of independent means, I'd build one again. Sighs and smiles came with this one. This is really good, but I don't have to depend on memories for any of that. We still have a drive in movie in our neighborhood. Only ten bucks a car, but not many stay in the cars, just take lawn chairs to sit in and be comfortable and cooler. Enjoyed this one. Karen
