It is funny how the magic of children can turn anger to laughter like the waving of a magic wand...Happy Easter all my friends (and enemies if any) on the den.

Poem Artwork

Carrot Juice

Ring, ring there’s that phone

Can’t get nothing done

Why can’t they leave me alone

Out of the tub, down the hall

Dripping, cursing all the way

Oops, almost took a fall

Hello, hello, yelled angrily

Is anybody there?

I mutter moodily

Just silence on the line

Then a little voice I hear

I know that voice so fine

“Hello Poppy, tell me what you think

Mommy says you know everything

So Poppy what do rabbits drink?”

That’s easy my silly little goose

Between mouthfuls of laughter

I tell her carrot juice….

Oh Fee,

This is just about the sweetest thing. How corrupted we become by the everyday hassles and then these bright little creatures come and screw up our little tirades. Excellent.

You are right, Fee. There no therapy like the innocence of a child to set one's priorities straight. Thank you. Happy Easter to you as well, my friend. Love and peace (from the other coast),

It's so fun how you can make rhyme out of everyday life! And how when we think we know what to expect we are often proven wrong. So much fun!

See you should never answer the phone grumpy, because it may be one of these special delights in your life. wouldn't want to make them feel they might make you angry calling. Good lesson and cool poem. Lady J

ps: yeh, now that they are older we know it all again. Remember the time when they did.
