I loved this poem, It is so so true. My friends three year old daughter loved coming to see my rabbit. When the rabbit was taken by a fox and her mum broke the news to her that the rabbit was no longer there she turned to her mum and said I will give her Jessie bear (one of her favourite toys). I was so touched. Children are so special. Thank you for a great poem. God bless. Baz

Beautiful, this brought tears to my eyes. When my daughter went through chemo, I was crying one night and trying to keep very quiet so she would not hear me. In her weakend and sickly state, she came out of the bedroom, put her arms around me and told me it would be okay. This piece, so beautifully expressed, brought that moment back to me. Children have wisdom and strength far beyond their years.
